To get to Tibet we had to trek 5 kilometers to the Nepali-Tibetan border
Across the border we found a little village where we refreshed before hitching a ride north
A 9 hour truck ride with the view of the world followed
First long stop was Xigatze, where we got to spend time with Tibetans
and hear about the Chinese cruelty firsthand
From Xigatze we went straight to Lhasa and the terrain changed slowly as we got closer
We stayed a long time in Lhasa - The Chinese shot some Monks (again)
and the city was sealed off to search all tourists for photo's of the event!!!
I spotted this dog in the market area - Lhasa apso or Lhasa dread???
